Introduction to Slow Stitching
Join us for a fun and friendly class where you’ll learn the art of simple stitching for mindfulness.
Rather than focussing on an outcome or a finished piece, Slow Stitching has a different approach, where you focus on the stitching, material and textures as you sew, and embrace the outcome. If you would love to be able to enjoy sewing, but feel you don't have the skill, this is definitely the class for you.
You can take as long as you need to choose and cut your fabrics, using simple stitches to fuse the pieces together. If you have never sewn before, it only takes a few minutes to earn a couple of simple stitches and then you can begin. Your mind will relax as your piece develops organically.
